Darrel GilsonWhen I started working with Laurence, the problem I had was needing to increase my mobility & not burning myself out in the gym training weights alongside my BJJ and wrestling training. I chose to get in contact with Laurence as liked the stuff I see on social media, his concepts on s&c & food, the fact he competed, trained in BJJ and was using the strength & conditioning (s&c) himself and that he was in the real world in the terms of understanding family life , work & training which I think a lot of programmes /trainers/coaches don't always get.

He solved my problem by putting together a simple but detailed plan that was easy to understand and use.
His solution was unique, easy, simple to read and take in, he has a personal understanding of the sport and how this programme could help and that you could ask anything with out worrying sounding out of your depth or anything always ready to help with anything.
I also liked the fact it was so simple to take on the way it was explained, the way he laid out the process so that I didn't get bored or not feel like a chore, plus that I didn't have to be in the gym all the time that I could be at home around the family not feel like I'm away all time and the little people in the house would try and join in so was a little more fun which is what it's all about enjoying what you do
Laurence was always easy to talk to, ask questions to and his ideas made me think think about s&c in a different way. For example, how important looking after myself with mobility proper stretching/warm ups simplicity of understanding the basics and reasons why you're doing something, also the importance of proper food /nutrition which is still a learning process for me and inspired me to understand it all in more detail.
I would highly recommend Laurence to friends that are involved with BJJ, grappling, nogi, wrestling or anyone else who wants to add s&c to there routine even in a different sport or lifestyle.
